For the greater good

This was the headline for a review copy published in The Straits Times today (Oct 25) by Thomas Mooney.
It essentially raises an old argument of morals by individuals and Governments, and how these have or have not been influenced by the uncertain times we live in.

Clear your table

It’s interesting that The Straits Times has taken up this challenge to nudge a change in the social habits of Singaporeans – in this case to get people to clear their food trays after eating in a hawker centre, food court or fast food joint. Still there are bigger irritants here we should be putting in the social crosshairs.
